AR Collector
Are you a proactive professional with a talent for collections and customer relations? We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Collector to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for resolving overdue invoices, managing payment collections, and reducing delinquency while maintaining positive relationships with our existing customer base.
Responsibilities:
Collections Strategy: Review open accounts and invoice reports to execute effective collection efforts.
High-Volume Outreach: Manage a consistent workflow of 100+ weekly interactions, including approximately 35 outbound calls per day.
Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve customer billing problems and identify issues contributing to account delinquency.
Internal Collaboration: Meet weekly with Sales Managers to review account balances and determine if field support is needed.
Administrative Accuracy: Update customer information (POs, contact names, payment details) in Sage 100 and provide timely follow-ups on payment arrangements.

Requirements:
Strong English proficiency (B2+) is a must-have.
Must reside in Medellin or Bogota.
Minimum of 2 years of corporate collections experience interacting with a large customer base.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for phone interactions, email, and Microsoft Teams.
Confidence in "bringing the customer back" (retention focus) and knowing when to apply appropriate pressure to collect payments.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and general computer comfort as we transition to a new ERP system.
