Safety Engineer (New Hampshire)
Experience
- 3-5 years of industrial/manufacturing experience
- Professional safety certification (CSP or similar) preferred, or willingness to obtain certification required
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- OSHA and compliance regulation experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to interact with labor, management, and outside consultants and governmental entities
- Professional and helpful attitude
- Willingness to collaborate with others and problem-solve
- Ability to manage multiple projects and maintain reasonable deadlines
- Openness to training in other Health and Safety areas
- Ability to identify and correct unsafe actions
- Skilled in the Root Cause Analysis process, mitigation, and corrective strategies
- Knowledgeable in, and skilled the implementation of the hierarchy of controls
Education
Bachelor’s degree from accredited four-year college required, Safety and Health or related degree preferred.
Additional Requirements
- Travel up to 50%
- Clean driving record
- Ability to obtain passport for Canadian travel
- Experience with Origami preferable
- Knowledgeable in Third-Party Compliance preferable
